Bob Overs Named Creative Living Executive Director
Creative Living Board of Directors are proud to announce that Bob Overs has accepted the position of Executive Director, recently vacated by the retirement of Marilyn Frank. Board President, David Berentz stated, “We believe that Bob’s professional and personal achievements reveal a visionary, yet humble leader with a resolute commitment to supporting Creative Living’s mission.”
Originally from Springfield, Ohio, Bob’s career began in the U.S. Air Force. After serving four years, he was awarded the Commendation Medal, an honor given for meritorious service. Bob then went on to earn his BS/BA from The Ohio State University – Max M. Fisher College of Business.
After graduating with honors, he joined Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouse-Coopers) as a CPA. Bob’s career evolved into an extensive and successful tenure with Technical Rubber Company, Inc. of Johnstown, Ohio and its international affiliates. At Technical Rubber Company, Inc., Bob spent over 26 years serving in various leadership positions, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Heartland BancCorp and its subsidiary Heartland Bank, a leading Central Ohio community bank, as well as The Osteopathic Heritage Foundation, a foundation that supports osteopathic medical education and research nationally, and the health and quality of life for vulnerable populations in Central and Southeastern Ohio.
Bob lives in Central Ohio with his wife of 26 years, Linda. Their daughter, Cori, is an OSU grad and recently completed her Master’s degree in Counseling and Art Therapy.
Bob not only brings nearly 30 years of corporate leadership and business expertise to his role as Executive Director, he embodies the passion and commitment necessary to drive positive change and enrich Creative Living’s long legacy.
